That's my alpha server. Currently installed in our dormitory's cellar serving as a build server for alpha packages as well as some internal services. It's attached to a Storageworks disk array (7x9Gb). It only lacks one more CPU board to be complete (anyone?). I also hope to find a drawer for it sometime soon.

My alpha workstation. I used it for my daily work like managing emails and documents, browsing, coding and even image processing. ATI 9250 dual head display offered generous space and speed for all my needs. Very loyal machine.

This works as a disk server for my IDE storage. As the original RS/6000 case didn't offer enough place I decided to move the components over to a PC hightower. The result isn't as smooth as expected but it works nontheless. It contains four cold-swap disk cages addressed by two PCI IDE controllers. NFS shares are distributed over a 3c905C-TX/TX-M Tornado card to my local network.

This tiny device is able to run E17. Do I need to say more? It's a complete pocket-sized computer with much more power than many of my other devices. Its touchscreen display is very clear and sharp and offers a generous resolution of 640x480. Flipping the display enables PDA-like handling. Containing SD card and CF extension slots and a USB connector makes it fit in almost every environment.

Basically the same device as above with just another shell around it. The processor's got a higher revision plus there's now USB host capabilities. I traded it in for my Vaio Picturebook with my best friend over here.

It's 360Mb harddisk implies very limited use these days but the docking station allows connection of SCSI-1 devices and a adds various more functionality. The display is a TFT screen with pitch-adjustable brightness. I'm a big fan of devices with solid machining like these and thus keep it as a collector's item.

A retired portable workstation. I use it from time to time to remote control my server or play its music. Like the 755C the T23 is very solidly processed and doesn't contain cheap devices or budget orientated implementations.

My very loyal travel companion. I upgraded the harddisk from 12Gb to 40Gb and can now carry all my documents, some movies and music whereever I go as it weighs just a bit more than one kg. The small battery lasts about two hours, the large one five - thanks to the frequency scalable Transmeta Crusoe processor and software controllable display brightness.

A cheap PC box containing wildly mixed components. Nothing special. I use it for compiling E17 for EMT64 and as an interface to various games. Upgraded it with an EVGA 8800 GTX ACS3.

Not much to add here - my local network switch. Needed to replace the default fans by silent ones to make it bearable.

An Indigo which I pulled out of the electronic garbage. The RTC clock's battery is empty and I lack harddrives as well. Maybe I can make it run somewhen.
